This release is a complete rewrite and rethinking of how the
ghost-wallet-extensionis used. New features will be added gradually, alongside ongoing UI refinements.Backward Compatibility
There is no backward compatibility with older versions. This is a bleeding-edge release, and all versions below 0.4.0 are now deprecated.
You don't need to worry about old accounts - the testnet was fully restarted, so no account balances were transferred at this time.

Our recomendation is to fully remove old one at reinstall it from scratch for now.
Changed
- The concept of an Account Tree is now applied. Only one account or derivation is active and exposed to external dApps at any given time.
- Each Account Tree is represented by public info (such as public key, name, and address) and a secret seed stored with salsa20poly1305. This array of keystores is stored in localStorage.
- You can derive any account based on the derivation rules at any time. Each one is represented as an array mapped to the publicKey of the account tree root.
- If the screen needs to be scrolled due to the number of accounts/derivations, you can use the fuzzy finder search. Any substring works - name, derivation path, or address.
- You can now export all your accounts as a single AES-256 encrypted archive. While all secret vaults are already encrypted, this is done just to be safe.
- During import from a file, you can choose import strategies, such as whether to include derivations, and how to handle duplicate names, public keys, and derivation paths.
- In the settings tab you'll be notified about new releases if new version arrives.

ghost-node 0.8.5andcasper-runtime 3.5.37. This update is essential, as the full network redeployment generated a new genesis hash.Back Compatibility
Because the previous chain was deprecated, the older versions of extension will not work by default — the only available bootnode uses the updated chain. If you need to use the older extension with old network, add your node as a bootnode in the options. Note that we cannot guarantee the previous network will be supported by other nodes. We highly recomend to update to the latest version which include new extended functionality.

If the browser is already loaded with the ghost-extension from the specified path, you only need to the
distdirectory and then click the refresh button in the extension management panel. Otherwise, you'll need to handle the key migration manually.NOTE: Ensure you have backed up your secret recovery seed from the previous wallet extension. If you remove the old extension without it, all keys will be permanently lost.
