    Release information

    This release updates the ghost-wallet-extension to ensure full compatibility and alignment with the specified ghost-node: ghost-node 0.8.5 and casper-runtime 3.5.37. This update is essential, as the full network redeployment generated a new genesis hash.

    Back Compatibility

    Because the previous chain was deprecated, the older versions of extension will not work by default — the only available bootnode uses the updated chain. If you need to use the older extension with old network, add your node as a bootnode in the options. Note that we cannot guarantee the previous network will be supported by other nodes. We highly recomend to update to the latest version which include new extended functionality.

    Installation

    Download zip archive for your browser then follow instructions below:

    • Chromium-based Browsers - Use official guide to install
    • Firefox-based Browsers - To install extension temporary check official guide here

    If the browser is already loaded with the ghost-extension from the specified path, you only need to the dist directory and then click the refresh button in the extension management panel. Otherwise, you'll need to handle the key migration manually.

    NOTE: Ensure you have backed up your secret recovery seed from the previous wallet extension. If you remove the old extension without it, all keys will be permanently lost.
